Well we had another glorious day in Cathedral Square today. It was a bit more relaxed today as we only had two graduate artist at work. Hopefully Caroline Allen will have recovered from her illness and will join us for our final day tomorrow. Meanwhile please enjoy these films of Hilary O’Dwyer & Tamzin Titford-Mock from today.
Wow what a wonderful day today. It has been a true Scottish day. Morven Odling and Jill Kirkham travelled down from Edinburgh while Emma Kerr came from just the other side of the border from Carlisle.
The sun shone on us all day and the temporary artwork created was fantastic.
Today we worked with Amber Wakley who made a beautiful lace work straight on to a tree, Samantha Wilson who covered a bench in crocheted flowers and Jo Aylmer who created a piece of work inspired by the railings and made from rubber tubing. If you’re passing through the churchyard look out for the five interventions there now. We hope the weather will stay on our side for the rest of the week.

A few images from the start of the week with Fay De Winter and Lyndsey Caufield. The weather is a bit against us today but it’ll be great to see how the works grow.
